Like it or not, we Cubs fans are stuck with Yu because with his contract, the only good option, is him returning to his former self. He is KEY to the Cubs success in the next 5 years (yes 5 years).

After the huge disappointment of last year, my fingers are crossed he will return to his old self. We have to give him the benefit of a doubt that he was hurt, but now he's not. I know many were disappointed the Cubs let Jake Arrieta slip away, especially for the price and terms paid, but in the long run Yu should be a better bet. At least that's what Theo thinks.
While baseball is on the back burner of our minds, Yu is on the mend and I look forward to a good start to '19 and all will be forgotten.
